Chicago Marathon 2017 and more
It has been a while. In the Queretaro marathon of Oct 1, 2017 I ran as a pacer sub 3:30 and we managed to run a 3:24! Just this past weekend Oct. 8 the Chicago marathon celebrated its 40the edition and I could experience how it felt running a plus 7 hours marathon with a friend who’s a bodybuilder. It was a long but very pleasant journey. And no pain in the legs! My former pupil Madai Perez, and now coached by her husband who I prepared to assist her, finished 4th place with her 2nd best time: 2:24:44 (her PR is 2:22:59, 2006 Chicago marathon). Over a 30 runners from German Silva Viajes ran the marathon too. Congratulations to all of them, on a warm sunny day, not an easy job!
Now the New York City marathon is getting closer and we’ll be travelling there with 50 runners.
